You could say that I wear (and crochet) a lot of hats – and it’s true.
I am a self-proclaimed busy body who loves to always be doing something, but I also realize that downtime is a life necessity.
Enter crochet.
It’s the perfect hobby to unwind to after a long day of chasing kids while doing something fun that I love that’s just for me (and doesn’t require leaving the couch, let’s be honest).
I fell in love with crocheting about 14 years ago. I would deeply admire & watch my mother-in-law whip up beautiful afghans and handmade treasures like it was nothing.
She was always making drool-worthy heirlooms for the people she loved and I thought….
As a stay-at-home-Mom of 2 young boys, this would be the PERFECT hobby for me to do in my spare time.
And I was right.
After she taught me the basic stitches, I was HOOKED (get it?)
Ever since, I have crocheted too many hats & crafts to count – while also making baby blankets for my boys (and myself) to treasure forever.
But at the end of the day, when my brain is exhausted from rearing 5 boys, I need simple, easy projects that fulfill me.
And that’s what I aim to share here: simple & timeless crochet patterns
Patterns that are easy enough for a fresh beginner to follow AND designs beautiful enough to be admired by pros.
