This cute little mug rug makes the perfect addition to your desk, nightstand or coffee table.
It’s easy to whip up quick and makes an excellent stash buster.
I made this herringbone mug rug for my office desk. The color contrasts with the wood color and makes me smile every morning while I sip my favorite tea & catch up on my blog.
This mug rug is a very easy project to make for yourself, gifts, or even to sell at craft fairs!
And the best part? This pattern is beginner-friendly. Woo!
I created this coaster only using the herringbone single crochet as the main stitch. Using cotton yarn, this stitch brings out so much simple texture that I love!
New to the herringbone single crochet stitch?
I created an entire photo & video tutorial here to help you get started.
But if you already know the (best way) to herringbone crochet, then let’s get started!
